About The Position

The Sales Closer is responsible for selling vehicles to customers, as well as ensuring that other Sales Associates are able to properly structure and close their deals according to AutoNation policies and procedures. The Sales Closer will provide customers with product information and excellent customer service to ensure a positive buying experience. The Sales Closer will also train and lead a team of sales associates, and work with other Sales Associates when needed or requested in the closing of deals. Lead the Future of Automotive Retail. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior sales experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience providing quality customer service
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Must have a valid state driver's license
  • Ability to operate an automobile

Responsibilities

  • Sell vehicles utilizing the AutoNation Sales Process
  • Motivate, train and lead a team of sales associates
  • Assist other sales associates in the sales process and closing of deals
  • Deliver new vehicles to customers.
  • Ensure the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Demonstrate an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction and being devoted to guaranteeing customer satisfaction
  • Prospect on a day-to-day basis by phone, mail, and person to person
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Forecast goals at the beginning of each month
  • Monitor the dealership inventory on a daily basis
  • Introduce customers to the Service Department emphasizing to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled
