What You’ll Be Doing: As a Sales Team Lead, you will play a hands-on role in driving revenue growth by selling managed services and supporting time-and-material (T&M) customers, while coaching and mentoring the Sales team to help them succeed. You will leverage your industry knowledge and practical sales experience to build strong customer relationships, qualify opportunities effectively, and guide the sales process from discovery through close. This role blends individual sales contribution with leadership, making it ideal for a high-performing salesperson who is ready to step into a people-focused sales management role.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of successful sales experience within our industry or a closely related field.
  • Strong product and service knowledge, with the ability to train others on supporting T&M customers.
  • Experience selling to customers across different industries and understanding their unique business needs.
  • Proven knowledge of managed services sales, including the ability to ask the key discovery questions required to scope and quote managed services contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Western Canada up to 25% (Calgary, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Vancouver).

Responsibilities

  • Sell managed services and T&M offerings to customers across a variety of industries.
  • Demonstrate strong product and service knowledge to confidently position solutions and train others on handling T&M customers.
  • Conduct effective discovery conversations to understand customer environments, challenges, and business goals.
  • Accurately scope and quote managed services agreements.
  • Overcome customer objections and clearly articulate the value of managed services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers across multiple industries.
  • Manage and lead Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs), helping them develop their sales capabilities and achieve targets.
  • Manage and lead sales activity, pipeline health, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to sales planning, process improvement, and execution.
