About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring a Sales Tax Associate in Bridgewater, NJ. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week. The associate will be responsible for preparing and filing monthly and quarterly state sales and use tax returns, assisting with tax audits, and clearing Ariba tax exceptions. The company is a global provider of outsourcing, IT digital consulting, and strategic staffing services.
Requirements
- Experience in preparing and filing state sales and use tax returns
- Knowledge of sales and use tax compliance and reporting at the state and local levels.
- Experience with SAP Ariba
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly state sales and use tax returns which includes filings, payments, prepare journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Assist tax staff in pre-audit preparation for sales and use tax audits including store and fixed asset listings, trial balances.
- Pull relevant sales and expense details for requested test samples.
- Provide invoices chosen for review.
- Assist tax staff in clearing day-to-day Ariba tax exceptions.
- Additional projects as needed.
