Sales Support is responsible for providing support to the sales team and customers during the sales process. They help customers resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner, providing real-time support. They serve as a liaison between the company and its customers by completing clerical and administrative duties for the sales team, entering sales orders, answering customers' questions, providing quotes, assisting other departments as needed, and informing customers of their order status. Sales Support also performs several responsibilities related to engaging new and existing clients, with the goal of generating sales and retaining customers.
