The position involves accurately entering data, confirming customer details, and potentially interacting with manufacturers regarding obsolete parts or sourcing new products. The role also includes confirming orders in writing, corresponding with customers via phone and email, entering quotations and orders into sales order processing systems, building new customers and part numbers, and assisting with business system database cleanup. The Sales Support position requires taking direction from managers and allowing them to approve prices before quoting customers. Additionally, the role involves picking up customers on hold when needed. This position may be modified with other duties assigned.
