About The Position

This role is responsible for fielding calls from customers who wish to place orders. The position involves accurately entering data, confirming customer details, and potentially interacting with manufacturers regarding obsolete parts or sourcing new products. The role also includes confirming orders in writing, corresponding with customers via phone and email, entering quotations and orders into sales order processing systems, building new customers and part numbers, and assisting with business system database cleanup. The Sales Support position requires taking direction from managers and allowing them to approve prices before quoting customers. Additionally, the role involves picking up customers on hold when needed. This position may be modified with other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls for customers looking to place orders thru the phone queue
  • Enter data accurately in order entry screen.
  • Confirm customer details updating in P21 where needed
  • Interact with manufacturers on obsolete parts and update customer
  • Source products and best price for manufacturers not currently supplied by Radwell (new products)
  • Audit and update part number information in Radwell Systems (Spectrum)
  • Confirm all orders to customer in writing thru P21 system
  • Correspond with customer via phone and e-mail
  • Enter quotations and orders into sales order processing systems
  • Build new customers in sales order processing systems
  • Build new part numbers as needed
  • Assist in business system database cleanup and ongoing maintenance updating customer information where necessary
  • Take direction from managers and assistant managers and allow the manager to approve all prices prior to the potential customer being quoted
  • Pick up customers on hold when needed
