Sales Support Specialist – Data Analytics & Commercial Operations
About The Position
The Sales Support Specialist – Data Analytics & Commercial Operations role involves visiting customers independently and with sales personnel to strengthen relationships and address customer needs. This position is responsible for managing inventory of industrial gases and hard goods primarily via phone communication. The specialist will provide ongoing support by answering questions, tracing order status or shipments, and resolving customer issues promptly. Additionally, they will prepare analyses, agendas, materials, and follow-up documentation to assist sales teams in understanding client requirements. The role requires solving straightforward problems efficiently, delivering timely solutions, and communicating clearly to ensure follow-up and maintain customer satisfaction. The specialist will also make informed recommendations to external customers to support their purchasing decisions, support proposal development, cylinder audits, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED as a minimum educational requirement.
- Prior experience in sales support or a related customer service role preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and great attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity.
