Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Responsibilities
- Research and qualify leads and distribute to outside sales reps
- Use a variety of information sources to identify potential customers
- Assist sales reps in maintaining the sales pipeline
- Communicate regularly with new accounts, developing a strong rapport
- Maintain assigned accounts
- Review and address our category gap reporting
- Procure sample requests
- Assist sales reps with RFPs
- Make customer visits 1-2 times per month with assigned sales reps
- Upon proof of ability, quote and secure new item sales to existing customers
- Communicate product changes and conversions, and introduce new products to the customer base.
