About The Position

Schimberg Co. is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to provide behind-the-scenes support to help our Omaha sales team provide exceptional customer service. An essential focus in this position will be preparing customer quotations using our internal platforms. You'll receive quote requests, review information for accuracy and completeness, use our systems to generate the quotation and review results for accuracy before returning to the sales team. We're looking for someone comfortable with learning new technology, who picks up on processes quickly, pays close attention to details, and takes ownership in their output. This is a true team support role. You'll also assist with other sales support tasks such as order entry, directing inbound phone calls, processing delivery receivers, expediting orders, communicating order status with team members and other administrative responsibilities as needs arise. You must thrive in a team environment, be self-motivated, and adjust to rapidly changing priorities throughout the day. Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office software and ability to learn new software and technology quickly
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through
• Confidence to ask questions when needed but capable of taking steps to resolve independently when possible
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of the details
• Willing to help out when needed, even if it isn't part of your normal routine
• Pre-employment background screen as a condition of hire

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service, project coordination or similar role preferred
• Related industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations using our internal platforms
• Review quote requests for completeness and identify information that needs clarification
• Review system-generated quotations for accuracy
• Develop a strong understanding of our products, processes, and the way we do business
• Take ownership of assigned work and follow tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
• Keep orders, sales tickets, and receivers organized and submitted in a timely manner
• Support sales team with a variety of administrative tasks
