About The Position

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is a source of quality supplies for a variety of industries. We are hiring Sales Support Representatives who are ready to help customers, solve problems, and learn the business from the ground up. This role involves supporting sales associates to meet customer needs by identifying the best products and solutions, ensuring timely quotations and accurate sales orders, and coordinating deliveries. The position also requires answering sales calls, resolving customer concerns, and utilizing CRM and phone systems. Responsibilities include training and working in the warehouse, pipe yard, and at the sales counter.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work
• Ability to transition between warehouse, yard, counter, and administrative duties as needed
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Waterworks or Construction is a plus
• Project management abilities to support sales initiative, coordinate timelines and ensure follow-up with the client preferred
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
• Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
• Responsibilities include training and working in the warehouse, pipe yard and at the sales counter.
