Sales Support Rep - Hybrid
About The Position
The Sales Support Representative - Hybrid will be responsible for operations in our small retail store by providing outrageous customer service to our customers, installing batteries, inventory management and back-office batching/reporting. In addition, this position will also assist with our commercial customers and will be responsible for account acquisitions and maintenance, order fulfilment, & customer database management. The Sales Support Representative should expect to spend the majority of their time in the retail location, occasionally making deliveries, or a sales visit.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in auto part/repair industry is a plus
- Outgoing, energetic personality to provide outrageous customer service
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
- Ability to lift & move up to 50lbs
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work on-site for the assigned shift
- Great teammate who can work alone or within a team
- Phone Handling 50 - 100 times a day
- A/R Collection experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales fulfilment needs utilizing the B2B Order process document
- Assist sales teams w/problem solving, inventory sourcing, cross referencing, etc.
- Record all customer interactions in CRM / POS system
- Monthly review of customer report; call as directed by Commercial Sales Manager
- Assist sales team with various projects as requested by Management team
- Work with general manager on local marketing campaigns
- Engage customers walking through your door and create meaningful relationships with customers through prompt, friendly service
- Execute the entire sales process, start to finish
- Act as point of contact for addressing customer issues and ensure resolution that exceeds customer expectations
- Verify inventory process and procedures are being executed to Boston Battery standards
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization and compliance
- Perform occasional battery installation & delivery of batteries for customers, as needed
- File all paperwork in accordance with Boston Battery requirements
- Other assignments as requested
