About The Position

The Sales Support Analyst plays a key role in managing buyer payment follow-ups and processing sales adjustments (including collapsing sales). This position is responsible for ensuring timely collections, resolving billing discrepancies, and delivering exceptional customer service. Success in this role requires a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The analyst will serve as a primary point of contact, collaborating closely with internal teams across Liquidity Services and liaising with buyer company representatives to support smooth transactions and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of administrative or coordination experience in an office environment, preferably supporting operations or sales teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Comfortable navigating internal systems and databases.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in time-sensitive situations.
  • Ability to identify and communicate potential issues promptly.
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to industrial or heavy equipment industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HE CAG sales team to monitor and follow up on outstanding buyer payments with the assistance of customer service.
  • Use best judgement to determine buyers’ interest in making payment, following up with 2nd chance bidders as needed.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies, unidentified wires, and short payment.
  • Default sales as determined by buyer response and seller requests.
  • Document all email and phone conversations with buyers in the LSI system.
  • Review the daily auction report and coordinate the distribution of assets to the division’s DB accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
