Requirements

  • 3 years of management experience in an outside sales environment.
  • Be self-motivated, competitive, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • 5 years outside business-to-business contract sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent time & territory management skills.
  • Must periodically be available outside of normal business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach sales professionals to maximize their potential.
  • Partner with and lead sales representatives in selling waste and recycling removal services.
  • Prepare bids, weekly reports and assist in coaching Sales Reps on cold calling new and existing customers.
  • Manage customer escalations as appropriate.
  • Interact with customers, business associations and trade shows.
  • Document existing customer concerns and work with other departments to satisfy customer requests for service.
  • Prospect and explore market opportunities.
  • Build relationships and resolve challenges with current customers.
  • Develop relationships with coworkers, strategic planning, and account management.
