The primary role of the Sales Supervisor is to develop their team for success by becoming proficient in guest engagement to achieve revenue and budgeted sales targets. This position involves supporting and developing each team member through a sales proficiency process, ensuring accurate staffing and scheduling, and modeling the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Sales Model. The Sales Supervisor will also execute sales floor and guest engagement leadership responsibilities, ensure ongoing development training is completed, and execute style guide directives. Daily task completion and addressing escalated guest situations are also key responsibilities. The role requires the ability to interpret data to assess departmental focus and partner with Retail Sales Managers to meet sales goals. Fostering team member development through regular check-ins, one-on-one meetings, and performance management is crucial for building a strong talent bench. Additionally, the Sales Supervisor will cultivate a positive store culture by acting as a servant leader, prioritizing guest and team member experiences, and implementing initiatives to boost morale and engagement.
