About The Position

The National Western Center (NWC) is a reimagined 250-acre campus in Denver, Colorado with a vision to be the global destination for food and agricultural discovery. It is the new home of the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State University’s Spur campus. But the future National Western Center isn’t just new buildings. It’s a destination unto itself. The opportunity: NWC is in search of a Venue Sales Suite Manager, this position is responsible for driving sales and managing execution of events within the venue permanent and pop up suites or premium seating areas. This involves selling suites to potential clients, coordinating event details, and ensuring a high level of client / attendee satisfaction. This position will work with partners as needed and departments as well to make sure things are running smoothly and objectives established by the COO. This is a multifaceted job with a broad spectrum of opportunities for professional development. You’ll join a small, nimble, collaborative, creative, and entrepreneurial team as we accelerate growth of a new events hub and innovation campus in Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new clients and generating leads for sales suites.
  • Conducting sales presentations and tours that showcase the suites, look at creative off time uses for suites.
  • Negotiating pricing and contracts for suite rentals.
  • Meeting sales suite goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate all aspects of suite events, including catering, staffing and logistics.
  • Working with catering to ensure high quality food and beverages.
  • Manage event set up, execution and post event breakdown.
  • Quick response and troubleshooting of issues that might arise during events.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Tracking and managing materials like booked events, attendance, upcoming events to sell inventory to potential clients.
  • Trouble shooting any issues that may arise and working with ticketing that all information is correct prior to events.
  • Look at VIP packages to include possible VIP parking options for Suite sales.
