About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a strong, technical analyst for its Regulated Industries - Central Strategy Team. This role will be responsible for producing and maintaining the team's data infrastructure, conducting both ad-hoc and cyclical business analyses, and supporting stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have technical aptitude, be AI-native, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking. Experience with data analytics platforms like Tableau and Snowflake, familiarity with sales metrics and Salesforce Systems, and a background in Python or R are beneficial. The position requires proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets, understanding data modeling concepts, and performing data cleaning and transformation. The candidate should be comfortable framing ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems and synthesizing quantitative findings into clear narratives. This role is part of the Agentforce initiative, focusing on the future of AI in customer success.

  • Able to independently write and optimize SQL queries across relational databases
  • Comfortable working with normalized schemas and understanding data lineage
  • Able to perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation using SQL
  • Experience with version-controlled SQL scripts and query documentation best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics) preferred
  • Strong communication skills. Able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Background in Python or R is a plus for more advanced statistical analysis
  • 1-3+ years of experience in data analytics, strategy & operations, management consulting, or a related field
