About The Position

HOM Furniture is seeking a driven, goal-oriented, and passionate Sales Specialist to create world-class customer experiences and help others succeed. As a Professional Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals, growing and improving your skills, and building relationships based on trust and rapport. You will act as an inquisitive solution seeker, passionate about creating ideal solutions for customers' home furnishing needs. This role involves exceptional customer experiences, whether virtually via our online digital showroom or in-store. You will listen attentively, ask the right questions, and deliver perfect design solutions. Additionally, Sales Consultants participate in maintaining price cards, light duty vacuuming, and dusting in their assigned areas.

Requirements

  • Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years exceptional customer service experience required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year or 4 year college degree preferred.
  • Big ticket top writer commission sales experience preferred, such as; home furnishings, automotive, recreational vehicles, appliances, etc.

  • Learn the art of meticulous accuracy and follow-up when processing each order and delivery.
  • Receive mentoring to achieve financial growth and/or career advancement opportunities in a leadership or corporate role.
  • Focus on exceptional customer experiences, whether virtually via our online digital showroom or inside one of our large, beautiful stores.
  • Listen attentively and ask the right questions, then deliver the perfect design solution every time.
  • Participate in maintaining price cards plus light duty vacuuming and dusting in their assigned areas.
