This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support. As a Sales Specialist – Custom Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position focuses on proactively engaging customers, managing custom product quotes and orders, and leveraging strong product knowledge to meet and exceed sales and margin goals. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Proven success in sales and customer service with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management

Nice To Haves

  • associate degree or higher preferred
  • Experience with pool systems and products is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proactively follow up on customer quotes and sales leads for custom products in a timely and consistent manner
  • Drive sales performance while meeting or exceeding margin goals
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering responsive, solution-focused service
  • Review, prepare, and manage custom product quotes with a high level of accuracy
  • Provide customers with timely and accurate quotes (target turnaround: 4 hours)
  • Accurately enter and manage customer orders in internal systems
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to verify measurements and ensure order accuracy
  • Support team members with complex sales scenarios and escalated customer concerns
  • Assist with onboarding and training new hires on products, systems, and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and market conditions
  • Share insights and best practices to improve team performance
  • Contribute to achieving departmental goals and driving overall business success
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the department manager
