About The Position

The Equipment Sales Specialist reports to the Divisional Director, Contract Sales. Located in Landover, MD. This is a Full-Time, Hybrid position. As an Equipment Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to address the service needs of our contracted customers by handling tasks such as quoting standard and customized equipment, coordinating deliveries and installations, and overseeing project management. Your dedication to customer satisfaction and sales excellence will be key in achieving our business objectives.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications are a plus, or equivalent military or practical experience.
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of the AutoQuotes system is preferred.
Previous experience in equipment sales or related field is advantageous.
Foodservice experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Promptly respond to customer requests via in-person interactions, phone calls, and emails.
Demonstrate superior customer service skills in all interactions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Generate precise quotes for both standard and customized equipment, providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Support street sales representatives in the quoting process to drive sales growth.
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently for multiple accounts.
Place purchase orders with vendors for project and inventory items, ensuring timely delivery.
Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring goals and deadlines are met.
Coordinate equipment deliveries and installations, collaborating with internal departments as necessary.
Collaborate professionally with internal departments such as Credit, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Warehouse to meet customer needs.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
