About The Position

Join the Hicks Family Subaru team and help customers find the right time to upgrade their vehicle while delivering an exceptional ownership experience. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused professional to serve as the bridge between our Sales and Service Departments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers, and creating opportunities that benefit both the customer and the dealership. This is not a traditional sales position. Instead, you’ll work directly with customers who visit our service department, helping them explore options to lower their payments, upgrade to newer vehicles, improve safety features, or take advantage of current market conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and texting customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, insurance, or automotive experience is a plus
  • Automotive sales experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers visiting our service department
  • Review vehicle ownership information and identify upgrade opportunities
  • Introduce customers to current vehicle upgrade programs and incentives
  • Coordinate appointments between customers and the sales team
  • Assist customers in understanding trade values and vehicle options
  • Follow up with customers by phone, text, email, and in person
  • Work closely with Service Advisors and Sales Consultants
  • Create a positive customer experience throughout the ownership journey
  • Track customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Help increase customer retention and loyalty
