About The Position

This role is within the Turbomachinery Team, specifically focusing on the Turbo-Process Solutions (TPS) Product Line. The team provides industry-leading products and services to optimize energy production and processing, helping customers reduce operating costs and improve productivity. The role involves developing and creating future energy technology products and taking ownership of commercial strategy. The Sales Senior Specialist will prepare proposals for customers across North & Latin America, negotiate contracts, lead commercial compliance, conduct risk assessments, and manage contractual commitments. They will also lead the development of commercial solutions for parts, repairs, and field service transactions. The position requires a thorough understanding of products, systems, and the environments in which they are used, as well as the ability to adapt commercial processes to client conditions. Upholding the integrity and governance of commercial processes, policies, and procedures is crucial. The role involves promoting business value propositions, ensuring a better customer experience through solution-based selling, and validating the risk and reward balance of deals. It manages complex commercial processes with multiple internal and external stakeholders, encompassing technical, economic, logistical, and financial aspects. The department handles medium-sized sales and commercial processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in rotating equipment for Gas industry business.
  • English proficiency is mandatory.
  • Ability to influence others and lead various-sized teams.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Rotating Gas Technology equipment background.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to manage several medium-to-high profile projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Experience with Commercial Tools, analytical systems and platforms like Deal Machine, BPM, ROP, OBP, Oracle.

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in Sales and Commercial Roles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals with broad and complex scope for customers across North & Latin America.
  • Negotiate contracts, lead commercial compliance, risk assessment, and contractual commitments.
  • Lead the development of commercial solutions for parts, repairs, and field service transactions.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate with customers, ensure deals deliver shareholder value, and drive competitive pricing.
  • Compile and submit required tender documentation.
  • Oversee a small-mid team, consisting of Commercial Professionals and early career professionals.
  • Handle products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where they will be used.
  • Adapt commercial processes to client conditions through technical analysis.
  • Uphold the integrity and oversee the governance of all commercial processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote the business value propositions of BH to customers and internal stakeholders, providing better customer experience through solution-based selling.
  • Validate risk and reward balance, considering factors such as terms and conditions, technical risks, margin, and security of payment.
  • Manage complex commercial processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.
  • Involve technical, economic, logistical, and financial aspects in creating a proposal.
  • Handle diverse clients and commercial processes in North America and Latin America region.
  • Be involved in medium-sized sales and commercial processes.
