About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Sales and Risk Consultant to join their team. MMA provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions. The Sales and Risk Consultant will gather and analyze prospect coverage information, prepare risk evaluations, and recommend optimal client coverage while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role involves working with Business Development Executives and Client Advisors to expand referral sources and continuously improving sales techniques. Requirements

  • 4 years of directly related business development/client service experience.
  • Successful Sales and Risk Consultant experience with high-net-worth clients essential.
  • P&C licensed and HNW personal lines insurance experience necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with multiple HNW insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options outlined in proposals, while conforming to laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry.
  • Generate referrals from COIs (Centers of Influence).
  • Be responsible for meeting new business development goals and forecasting.
  • Incorporate and regularly practice techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.
  • Use Salesforce to complete funnel and other internal information tracking reports as required.
  • Use the EPIC Agency Management System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all account information.
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and there is compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
  • Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.
