About The Position

This roll interacts directly with the customer. This individual is responsible for sales development and program execution within a respective account base. This position is responsible for attaining monthly and annual territory sales targets. This person should be able to perform well in a team environment and have the ability to work on their own without direct daily supervision. The position reports to a Territory Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in the wine / spirits industry
  • Strong wine knowledge and passion for the business
  • Proficient computer / Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence customers
  • Ability to educate customers
  • Possess strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all Sales objectives for a given sales territory
  • Participate in regular sales meetings to insure alignment
  • Strategic planning for a sales territory
  • Manage all planning, recaps and reporting
  • Build and manage relationships with key accounts
  • Create, manage and execute business development strategy
  • Execute sales programs
  • Manage a territory budget
  • Manage activity calendar for territory
  • Comply with all company policies
