About The Position

CONMED is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Advanced Surgical sales force in NYC. CONMED has been a leader in developing cutting-edge surgical and patient care products since the early 1970s, driven by innovation and a commitment to constant improvement. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for achieving new sales and maintaining existing business by selling innovative technology to the OBGYN, Colorectal, Urology, and General Surgery spaces to positively impact patient outcomes. You will receive extensive hands-on training, ongoing collaboration and development from Field Sales Trainers, and opportunities for growth within the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree + 2 years outside sales experience (medical device, B2B, or healthcare preferred)
  • Candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have 6+ years of outside sales experience (medical device, B2B, or healthcare preferred)
  • Currently employed as a CONMED Associate Sales Representative
  • Approximately 20% travel
  • Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile
  • Access to customer accounts as a function of the job
  • Meeting account requirements regarding vaccinations is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccination.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device or surgical sales experience
  • Experience in operating room environments
  • Knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, or clinical workflows
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments
  • Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
