About The Position

The Insurance Sales Professional at The McMahan Group, Inc. is responsible for growing the book of business through new client sales and maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers. As a licensed sales professional, you'll learn the business inside and out. You'll help grow an Allstate agency and build relationships in your community. And that's just the beginning. The agency staff opportunity is not an employment opportunity directly with Allstate Insurance Co.; but rather employment as a staff member with Allstate Exclusive Agents, who are independent contractors.

Requirements

Willing to obtain Virginia Property and Casualty License
Prior sales experience preferred, not required
Ability to put in the effort to succeed and work well in team office environment

Responsibilities

Call, prospect, qualify, and sell auto & home insurance policies to new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs
Actively call and solicit policy bundles to existing clients as well as network for new clients, including win backs
