About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Salesperson to join their Chevrolet GMC sales department. This is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, outgoing, charismatic, and determined, ready to make sales a career. Requirements

  • Willingness to work weekend and evening shifts
  • Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
  • Good driving record
  • Valid driver license
  • May spend up to 1/4 of work shift using computers or phones
  • Use of snow removal tools required
  • Majority of job duties will be completed by standing and/or walking throughout work shift
  • Lifting may be required up to 20 pounds rarely

  • Travel to out-of-town training events is infrequent but required

Responsibilities

  • Working with clients and other sales staff to sell vehicles
  • Greeting clients
  • Providing product information
  • Demonstrating products and features to clients
  • Working with management staff to negotiate vehicle prices
  • Using computers, phones, and social networking sites to follow up with active prospects to build rapport, referrals, and future sales
  • Attending sales meetings and trainings
  • Assisting with showroom and vehicle lot displays
  • Using networking skills to build a customer base and referrals
