About The Position
Lawhon Network is hiring a Sales Representative as a career-change opportunity in financial services. As a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual, you will help individuals and businesses pursue financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. You will build long-term client relationships, understand each client's needs, and provide tailored solutions. Training, mentorship, and professional licensing support are available to help career changers transition into the field. District offices are located in Fort Lauderdale, Coral Gables, Aventura, Miami, and Naples, Florida.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, Series 63, and state insurance licenses; training and sponsorship are available.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or business development is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement planning.
- Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients’ assets and income.
- Monitor clients’ financial plans, provide regular updates, and adjust strategies as circumstances change.
- Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.
