Sales Representative – Entry Level
About The Position
Most jobs pay you the same whether you crush it or coast. This One Doesn't. MPower is hiring in Pittsburgh for people who'd rather be judged on results than on how long they've clocked in. If you've ever felt capped by a job that paid you the same no matter how hard you worked, this is the opposite of that. This is a customer-facing sales role. You'll meet directly with homeowners to introduce them to clean, affordable energy options—no cold calling, no chasing dead leads. We hand you the territory, the training, and the team; you bring the drive. No previous sales experience required. We'll teach you the process, the pitch, and the close from day one, with daily coaching to help you get there fast.
Requirements
- No previous sales experience required—comprehensive training provided from day one
- Strong verbal communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor
- Comfortable meeting and speaking with new people on a daily basis
- Self-motivated, coachable, and genuinely goal-oriented
- Reliable, consistent, and able to commit to full-time availability
- Competitive by nature, with a desire to measure and improve your own performance
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners throughout the Pittsburgh area and introduce them to renewable energy solutions
- Explain program details, pricing, and potential savings clearly and confidently
- Answer customer questions and address concerns with honesty and professionalism
- Guide interested customers through a simple, straightforward enrollment process
- Track your own numbers and work toward daily and weekly performance goals
- Take part in daily coaching, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and teammates alike
- Represent MPower with professionalism and integrity in every interaction
