Requirements

  • Excellent oral communication skills (negotiating effectively, solving problems on the fly, listening attentively to customer concerns, and delivering compelling presentations).
  • Proficiency in reading and writing (to complete paperwork and prepare proposals).
  • Strong organizational skills (to manage time effectively and ensure responsibilities are executed with precision and efficiency).
  • Keen ability to perform basic trade math functions (to analyze sales data and optimize inventory management).

Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships through regular scheduled sales calls that follow up on leads and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Managing customer inventory using handheld devices to streamline orders.
  • Merchandising products according to established standards.
  • Assisting with deliveries and display building as needed.
  • Implementing product promotions to drive business growth.
  • Ensuring the achievement of targeted volume and gross profit goals.
  • Daily verification of pricing.
  • Maintaining open communication with delivery representatives and merchandisers.
  • Troubleshooting any issues that arise with products or deliveries.
  • Keeping informed about new offerings to better serve clients.
  • Adhering to company safety protocols.
