About The Position

Motivo is seeking a driven, self-sufficient Sales Representative to own and grow a defined territory within the refinery and petrochemical market. This role is built for a true hunter someone who thrives in business development, is comfortable managing the full sales cycle, and brings deep industry knowledge and relationships. You’ll play a critical role in expanding Motivo’s footprint by developing new business, strengthening existing client partnerships, and delivering solutions across industrial cleaning, piping, and related services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the refinery or petrochemical industry
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in: Industrial cleaning, Piping or related services
  • Background with companies such as: Clean Harbors, HydroChem (HPC), DeBusk, Evergreen, Badger, Vortex, Insituform, Selling to refineries, total safety, pump companies Herc rental, sunbelt, united rain for rent, malco viori, structural technologies - civil apache brand safeway
  • Proven ability to independently manage a territory and pipeline
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting via virtual platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal oversight
  • Ability to pass random drug screenings
  • Must pass background check and be eligible for: DISA program clearance, TWIC Card

  • Industry experience is prioritized over formal education (“School of Hard Knocks” mindset)
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficiency in: CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment
  • Access to a dedicated home office (support available if needed)

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Drive new business development through cold outreach and networking
  • Build and manage a strong territory strategy
  • Develop accurate and competitive quotes and proposals
  • Maintain and track pipeline activity in CRM systems
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships
  • Conduct virtual sales meetings (approx. 5 per week)
  • Travel ~1 week per month to support client engagement and growth
