About The Position

We’re hiring a Multifamily Sales Representative with a strong hunter mentality to drive new business growth across the Texas multifamily market. This role focuses on developing relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Developers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors throughout all stages of multifamily construction. This position is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in competitive markets, understands the wood-frame multifamily segment, and excels at uncovering opportunities and closing complex deals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven sales growth experience in the Texas wood-frame multifamily market
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to prospect, negotiate, and close complex deals
  • Experience reading architectural and structural blueprints
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of sales strategy, marketing concepts, and business operations
  • Ability to travel approximately 10–15% monthly
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and convert key multifamily accounts including General Contractors, Owners, and Subcontractors
  • Actively pursue new business through weekly sales calls, jobsite visits, product presentations, and preconstruction meetings
  • Develop relationships with GC/Self-Perform Developers’ preconstruction teams and project managers
  • Build strong presence on multifamily jobsites with superintendents and trade partners
  • Sell across multiple product categories including Division 6, 7, and 10 solutions
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Collaborate closely with the Texas Business Development Manager and Multifamily leadership team
  • Participate in local and regional builder shows and industry events
  • Stay current on SouthernCarlson products, processes, and industry trends
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing market insights and value-added solutions
  • Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings, trainings, and leadership sessions
