To regularly call on established accounts within a specific territory, promoting, selling and working in, all new distribution items available from Georgia Crown. Must have overall product knowledge, properly inventory and survey the account for sales opportunities, and have a positive and mutual product relationship with the account and buyer. Must achieve and maintain optimum store conditions to include new distribution (30 days), shelf/backbar adjacencies, POS/Menu assignments, and displays. Promote monthly programs and pricing, keep up with market trends and conditions, and be aware of competitive activities. Must understand Georgia Crown’s policies and procedures, keep accurate account records and route books, keep monthly and daily pre-plans, and understand and work accounts within the applicable delivery schedules. Must be accurate in taking and placing orders and assist, when necessary, in collecting and dealing with special situations. Must communicate with suppliers in promoting, distributing, and building their brands. Must be on time to all meetings, dressed appropriately and be prepared to participate actively. Must follow itinerary each day and see all accounts on the itinerary and be prepared at all times with route book, deal sheets, pens, contracts, everyday deals and box cutter.
