About The Position

Solarus Technologies is a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering IT consulting, managed services, and technology solutions to businesses across the United States. We are expanding our presence in South Florida and are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help drive new business and strengthen relationships throughout the region. This role will focus on developing new client relationships, growing existing accounts, and partnering closely with one of our strategic technology partners to promote and upsell their security devices alongside Solarus’ managed IT and consulting services. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who is comfortable selling technology solutions, meeting clients in person, and identifying opportunities where IT services and physical security solutions intersect. This is a field-based role servicing the South Florida market.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within technology, IT services, telecommunications, or security solutions.
  • Experience selling IT managed services, cybersecurity solutions, or hardware-based technology is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person meetings and traveling locally throughout South Florida.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to identify client pain points and position technology solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and sales pipeline independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining organized sales documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or selling for an IT Managed Services Provider (MSP).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions, networking, cloud services, or IT infrastructure.
  • Experience selling or supporting physical security devices such as surveillance systems, access control, or monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across South Florida by prospecting, networking, and building relationships with small to mid-sized businesses.
  • Promote Solarus Technologies’ IT managed services, consulting services, and technology solutions to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with a strategic partner to introduce and upsell their security devices and solutions to existing and new customers.
  • Identify opportunities where security hardware and managed IT services can complement each other to provide a complete solution for clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations with clients throughout the South Florida region.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure solutions align with client needs and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and sales documentation within CRM.
  • Represent Solarus Technologies at networking events, industry functions, and partner meetings.
  • Stay informed on emerging IT, cybersecurity, and security device technologies to effectively communicate value to clients.
