About The Position

Arrow Stage Lines is seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales Rep who is passionate about sales and skilled at growing business by identifying untapped markets and building strong client relationships. The primary focus of this role is to drive charter sales by actively pursuing potential clients and maximizing opportunities to expand our customer base. This position offers a base salary along with the exciting potential to earn commission, rewarding your success in selling our charter services. Requirements

  • Two year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years sales/marketing experience. Customer service experience may also be considered if it includes quoting experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to complete work accurately within given deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point). Willingness to learn new software programs as needed in a timely manner.
  • Must have a clear concept of how to reconcile/balance an account.
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy.
  • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
  • Ability to perform work accurately efficiently, and thoroughly
  • Ability to stay calm under stress and effectively handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work additional hours, as necessary, to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Meet sales goals by identifying and visiting potential clients and selling our charter services, as well as responding to incoming customer inquiries, quotes, and orders via the telephone, fax, email, portal, and walk-in customers.
  • Provide support to the Regional VP Sales on customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain business relationships. Establish and foster positive rapport with customers, motorcoach operators, and staff.
  • Book charter reservations using Coach Manager System.
  • Answer questions about services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Inform customers of routes, pricing, federal DOT laws, etc. for charters booked.
  • Request and review submitted itineraries for charters to ensure all trips are within the federal DOT laws prior to departure.
  • Verify all charters have signed contracts, prepayments or purchase orders, itineraries, and are confirmed three days prior to departure.
  • Compute pricing for revisions, refunds, cancellations, and damage deposits.
  • Process charter invoices ensuring they are complete and entered properly according to policy and procedure. Responsible for mailing / emailing invoices three weeks in advance of the trip.
  • Maintain a tight control on availability of our motorcoaches, so that we are not over sold.
  • Create and mail thank you cards to clients.
  • Responsible for handling confidential information on a frequent basis.
  • Prepare and maintain records as required.
  • Prepares computerized reports as requested by management.
  • Works in excess of normal working hours as workloads and seasonal activities are encountered.
