About The Position

Morgan Records Management is a nationwide healthcare records custodianship company specializing in medical records retention, compliance, and release of information solutions for physician practices, healthcare organizations, and businesses in transition. We help healthcare organizations navigate complex medical records obligations through secure, compliant, end-to-end custodianship services — including records retention, release of information fulfillment, patient notifications, regulatory compliance support, and data transition coordination. We are seeking a motivated, professional, and consultative Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-based B2B sales, problem-solving, and helping clients navigate complex operational and compliance-related decisions. As a Sales Representative, you will work directly with physicians, attorneys, healthcare executives, practice administrators, and other business decision-makers to understand their needs and recommend tailored records custodianship and compliance solutions. Inbound opportunities are provided through a rotational lead assignment process — no territories or geographic limitations. Opportunities originate from across the country and range from independent physician practices to large healthcare organizations. Success in this role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, consultative selling abilities, and comfort speaking with sophisticated stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with physicians, attorneys, executives, and senior decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, project management tools, and similar business applications.
  • Ability to understand and follow HIPAA requirements related to sensitive healthcare information.
  • Reliable transportation for regular in-office attendance
  • Strong professionalism and ability to work independently
  • Reliable internet connection for occasional remote work and virtual meetings
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, healthcare, legal services, records management, consulting, healthcare operations, or a related industry preferred.
  • Technical or IT experience is not required, though familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, healthcare technology, or data transfer concepts is a plus, as the sales process often involves working with EMR vendors to identify practical data transition solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote, and sell Morgan Records’ services to prospective and existing business clients.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare organizations, physicians, attorneys, healthcare executives, administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand client operational, compliance, and records management needs.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing estimates, and service agreements aligned with client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and coordinate executed agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, project management, and data teams to ensure a positive and seamless client experience.
  • Coordinate with EMR/EHR vendors to help identify practical solutions for the transfer and long-term retention of electronic medical records.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and opportunity data within CRM and project management systems.
