About The Position

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and expanding business opportunities within a designated territory (Georgia and Alabama). This role is focused on lead generation, prospecting, and converting new customer accounts, with a strong emphasis on developing long-term relationships and closing new business. The Sales Representative will report directly to a sales-related Director or other designated sales leadership and work closely with the Inside Sales, Estimating, and Engineering teams. This position requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and the ability to consult with OEMs, manufacturers, and fabricators across a range of industries.

  • Self-driven and highly organized, capable of working independently and managing time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including long drives and overnight stays.
  • Demonstrated success in building customer relationships and closing new business.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.
  • Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred, especially in manufacturing, OEM, or industrial product environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customer relationships through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Manage and grow a personal sales pipeline by owning the full sales cycle from lead identification to closing.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across OEMs, window manufacturers, curtain wall manufacturers, transportation manufacturers and other key segments.
  • Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations to customers based on application-specific needs.
  • Travel weekly to visit customer locations, build rapport, and support product integration and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Estimating, and Engineering to deliver accurate and compelling customer proposals.
  • Forecast territory sales and report on pipeline progress through regular CRM updates and sales meetings.
  • Present pipeline activity, key wins/losses, and market insights during internal sales meetings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and market conditions relevant to customer needs.
  • Ensure timely updates and accuracy of all activities and leads within the CRM system.
  • Other duties as assigned to support new customer growth and sales objectives.
