About The Position

Prairie Farms Dairy is seeking an experienced full-time Sales Representative/Key Account Manager to join their team in Woodbury, MN. This growing company, with 85 years of success, is looking for a candidate with a strong sales background and a proven track record to contribute to their future growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing existing business across multiple trade channels and acquiring new business. The role requires at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry, with experience selling at the buyer's desk and in the field. Dairy sales experience is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years CPG Category Management or Sales experience
• Demonstrated increasing responsibility in sales management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be able to work cross functionally as a member of one team
• History of customer P&L management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects (categories)
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks)

Responsibilities

• Directly leads one or more customer relationships and oversees business in a specific territory
• Responsible for new item and seasonal authorizations and store level execution
• Ensures shelf execution and pricing is within retail pricing architecture
• Communicates sold in activity to cross functional team to ensure flawless execution
• Manages trade spend, executions of ads, promotions, and marketing plans
• Creates and presents customer business reviews and sales presentations
• Accountable for annual volume margin targets by customer and chain
• Supports other sales and cross functional team members for success and growth
