Requirements

  • At least 3 years of B2B sales experience in construction, steel fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industry
  • Can interpret construction plans & specifications
  • Experience utilizing online construction project platforms to support estimating, bidding, and project development

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for commercial construction and steel fabrication projects, including stairways, railings, and related structural steel work.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to drive business development and construction sales growth.
  • Attend networking events, pre-bid meetings, and job site visits to generate new opportunities and strengthen industry connections.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate project scopes, construction estimates, and competitive proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing new business.
  • Follow up on bids and proposals to maximize awarded projects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for awarded projects, coordinating communication from project kickoff through completion.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to support successful project execution, manage change orders, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
