About The Position

The Sales Representative will identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation. This role serves as the main point of contact for all builder matters, concerns, and needs, focusing on building and strengthening client relationships for long-term partnerships. The representative will maintain accurate builder records, develop a deep understanding of products and services to upsell and cross-sell, and address builder service needs. Regular team meetings will be held to discuss progress and improve builder service. The role involves generating progress reports for the Sales Manager and leadership, identifying upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities, and keeping management informed of competitive positions and progress towards sales goals. The representative will also complete required reports and documents accurately and promptly, continually seeking ways to improve results and effectiveness, and adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales or related experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and generates new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
  • Acts as the main point of contact for all builder matters, concerns and needs
  • Builds and strengthens client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
  • Maintains accurate builder records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals as required
  • Develops a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
  • Takes inquiries and requests from builders to address service needs
  • Stays on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs
  • Meets regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve service to builders
  • Generates progress reports to give to Sales Manager and leadership
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
  • Keeps management informed on competitive positions and action as well provide feedback on competitive positioning
  • Keeps Senior Management informed of activities and progress toward established sales goals & objectives
  • Completes required reports and related documents promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all reports and accounting records
  • Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
  • Other duties as assigned
