About The Position

Milton CAT is seeking entrepreneurial, independent-minded sales leaders to effectively manage their own business and join our rapidly growing team. The role involves selling Caterpillar equipment, focusing on compact equipment such as Mini Ex, Skid Steers, Wheel Loaders, and dozers. This field position requires daily travel to set up meetings, prospect job sites, engage in business conversations about critical issues, and close deals with customers and prospects. Milton CAT is the exclusive dealer of Caterpillar equipment in the Northeast and is one of the largest Caterpillar dealerships globally.

Solid leadership qualities (examples of initiative)
2 to 10+ years of sales experience
Strong QUESTIONING techniques that drive “business conversations” (Discovery/PAIN)
Eager to embrace technology (cell phones, i-Pads, CRM, etc.)
Hungry to learn and an ability to apply new knowledge

Nice To Haves

Passion for/Knowledge of heavy equipment (Skid Steers, Mini Ex, Loaders, Multi Terrain Loaders) a plus
