This position is responsible for the successful sale, distribution, and retail execution of our entire portfolio of products and related programs, resulting in overall volume growth within assigned accounts and territory. The Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring superior retail execution, and delivering exceptional service to all assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift over 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Must have reliable transportation; vehicle allowance provided.
  • Must have a cell phone with data capability; cell phone allowance provided.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage inventory freshness, code-date compliance, and retail execution standards across multiple accounts.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous beverage industry sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Organize each day for daily sales calls.
  • Meet with the manager or individual responsible for placing orders at assigned accounts and assess any changes or activity that may impact sales.
  • Advise customers on new products, promotions, and opportunities that may benefit their business.
  • Evaluate product already in the account and check code dates to ensure product freshness.
  • Ensure product freshness and always maintain fresh product throughout assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining code dates in sequential order on a weekly basis.
  • Rotate out-of-code product immediately and replace with fresh product.
  • Manage, track, and update all code dates for every item sold within M360 on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct regular account audits to ensure proper inventory rotation and compliance with freshness standards.
  • Fill and face shelves, maintain shelf pricing, rotate backstock, and update displays with fresh point-of-sale materials.
  • Organize rotation and breakage so it is easily identifiable and accessible to the driver during delivery.
  • Take inventory and prepare orders for discussion with account buyers.
  • Utilize selling skills to secure displays, shelf sets, point-of-sale placements, and new package placements.
  • Send orders, request signs, recap PFP activity, and update contest information through handheld electronic devices, with all orders transmitted no later than 3:30 PM.
  • Periodically check messages and texts to ensure accounts are serviced promptly, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings when necessary.
  • Continually communicate with managers regarding territory performance, opportunities, and challenges.
