Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in a sales, customer service, or technical-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Midwest region
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and sales-related systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ethanol, corn processing, agriculture, food, or chemical industries
  • Knowledge of fermentation or industrial processing technologies
  • Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and identify growth opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships within the fuel ethanol and carbohydrate processing industry
  • Support revenue growth by progressing opportunities and contributing to team sales targets
  • Identify new business opportunities through understanding ethanol and manufacturing processes
  • Assist in developing account plans and delivering commercial proposals aligned with strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical service, supply, marketing, and R&D
  • Help implement IFF technologies such as enzymes, yeast, and fermentation additives
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and identify unmet needs to deliver tailored solutions
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce, forecasting systems, and internal platforms to support sales execution
