About The Position

Impact Fire Services is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Service Sales Representative to expand our commercial fire and life safety business. This role involves building long-term customer relationships by promoting and selling preventative maintenance agreements (PMAs) and service solutions for commercial building systems, including Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting (E-Lights), and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). You will also work closely with existing customers to identify service, repair, and upgrade opportunities. No industry experience is required, as we are willing to train the right candidate who possesses drive, professionalism, and a desire to succeed.

  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and apply them effectively
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Comfortable influencing decisions and presenting solutions to customers
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of sales experience in a B2B, service, or technical sales environment (preferred, not required)
  • Experience selling service-based solutions or other intangible products
  • Understanding of the sales process from prospecting through closing and account retention
  • Proven track record of acquiring new business and growing existing accounts
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Experience within the fire and life safety industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers
  • Generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
  • Present and sell preventative maintenance agreements (PMAs)
  • Quote service repairs, inspections, and system upgrades
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experience
  • Meet and exceed sales goals while contributing to team success
  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, and customer needs
