About The Position

Atlantic Outdoors is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the full sales process, from initial inquiry through design and closing, in a consultative sales role. The company, established in 2014, specializes in selling and installing outdoor living structures and has expanded to include decks and modular buildings. They are known for high integrity, craftsmanship, customer service, and are poised for future growth. This role involves engaging inbound and self-generated leads, conducting in-home consultations, preparing quotes and proposals, managing the sales process, following up with customers, coordinating with internal teams, and traveling locally to meet clients.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience required
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience with quoting software

Nice To Haves

  • In-home or construction-related sales experience is a plus
  • Veritex experience is a plus
  • Takes ownership of results, follows up consistently, pushes deals forward, and confidently asks for the sale while handling objections.
  • Builds trust quickly, communicates clearly, and creates a positive experience that leads to repeat business and referrals.
  • Stays on top of leads, follows up quickly, and keeps the sales process moving.

Responsibilities

  • Engage inbound and self-generated leads, guiding homeowners through the sales process.
  • Proactively generate new opportunities through outreach and industry events.
  • Meet with customers (including in-home consultations) to discuss projects and recommend the right solutions.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals.
  • Manage the sales process from initial conversation through closing.
  • Follow up with customers to answer questions and build relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth project handoff.
  • Travel locally to meet with customers (typically within 1-1.5 hours).
