About The Position

SPIROL is a global manufacturer providing engineered metal components and fastening solutions. We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Danielson, Connecticut. This role focuses on building customer relationships, solving problems, taking ownership, and driving long-term business growth through exceptional service. The position is 100% on-site.

Requirements

Associate degree in Business, Communications, General Studies, or a related discipline; advanced studies in science or engineering technology are preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in sales, inside sales, B2B sales, account management, customer service, customer success, or business development preferred.
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong computer skills; experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
Ability to travel based on business needs and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop strong customer relationships and become a trusted commercial partner in the assigned sales territory.
Proactively connect with customers to understand their needs, anticipate future requirements, and secure repeat business.
Build relationships across customer organizations, including Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Management.
Qualify incoming sales leads and customer inquiries to determine the best course of action for securing and developing business.
Identify opportunities for additional products, applications, and future business.
Prepare and follow up on quotes and customer proposals.
Perform Annual Business Reviews and ensure customer information, pricing, requirements, and future demand are current and well-documented.
Collaborate with SPIROL's Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, and Operations teams to support customers and develop opportunities.
Resolve customer and order-related issues with urgency and professionalism.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information within the CRM.
Support customer forecasting and account planning.
Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and occasional customer visits.
