About The Position

Requirements

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Order processing systems (Excel & Word).
Ability to sustain a current and valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads.
Travel to assigned territory to call on customers and solicit orders.
Display or demonstrate products, emphasizing salable features.
Quote prices and payment terms, and prepare sales contracts.
Estimate delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules.
Prepare reports of business transactions.
Collaborate with other departments and sales representatives to maintain up-to-date account information.
Track stock levels.
Coordinate customer training.
Enter new customer and sales data into a computer database.
Investigate and resolve customer delivery issues.
Attend trade shows.
Conduct business in accordance with local and state laws.
Deliver emergency orders when needed.
Participate in supplier work-withs.
Confer with District Manager to resolve customer problems.
Maintain tracking reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Perform other duties as assigned by District or General Manager.
