About The Position

As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of our office in the community, promoting our title and closing services to real estate agents and others to earn their business. You will connect agents with escrow officers by understanding their personalities and facilitating successful working relationships. You will educate agents by sharing your expert knowledge of industry and local developments, and sell our services by building trust and enduring relationships. Additionally, you will entertain clients to foster business and personal connections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three years’ sales experience.
  • Basic understanding of title insurance.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to support marketing efforts.
  • Well organized, excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Microsoft Suite proficient.
  • State specific certifications where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years’ escrow, title, or real estate experience.
  • Notary license.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and meeting with the area’s real estate agents and lenders to pursue and cultivate relationships that enable you to sell our title and closing services.
  • Closing the loop with potential clients by responding to open questions and obtaining information that will persuade them to use our services.
  • Being recognized by agents and lenders as the “go-to” person with the expertise and support staff to answer their questions.
  • Using social media to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Creating and conducting workshops to help agents become better at their jobs using a combination of prepared and customized materials.
  • Sharing the results of meetings with supervising managers and preparing weekly reports to track and monitor business results, gains and losses.
