About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This role offers uncapped commissions, incentive trips, and career advancement within a Fortune 250 company. You will receive industry-leading sales training and utilize the latest sales technology. The environment is fast-paced, inclusive, and fosters collaboration and belonging. In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory targeting clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. Your responsibilities will include identifying and signing new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions, as well as selling additional solutions to existing clients. You will cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads, assess client needs, present ADP solutions, and close business in the field. Prior sales experience is not required, as ADP provides comprehensive sales training and equips you with the necessary sales technology. Requirements

  • Positive Self-Starter with an upbeat, persistent style.
  • Ability to cold call without fear of rejection.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and professionally in writing, in-person, and over the phone.
  • Agile Solution Seeker and problem solver, capable of finding solutions during fast-paced change.
  • Continuous Learner, always seeking to improve processes.
  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business by closing sales, winning business, and reaching sales goals, working independently and collaboratively within an assigned geography.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Cultivate additional business within existing accounts by deepening relationships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
