About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative for Small Business Services. This role targets clients and prospects with 1-49 employees within a defined geographic territory. The primary responsibilities include identifying and signing new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions, as well as selling additional solutions to existing clients. Daily tasks involve cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads from business partners, assessing client needs to present ADP solutions, and closing business in the field. Prior sales experience is not required, as ADP provides comprehensive sales training and utilizes the latest sales technology. Key attributes for success include integrity, resilience, positivity, and a determined attitude, with the ability to thrive through challenges. The role offers uncapped commissions, incentive trips, and career advancement opportunities within a respected tech company.

  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business by working independently and collaboratively within an assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
  • Turn prospects into loyal clients by implementing a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Deepen relationships by strategically cultivating additional business within existing accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
