About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This role offers uncapped commissions, incentive trips, and career advancement within a Fortune 250 company that provides industry-leading sales training and the latest sales technology. In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory targeting clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions, and sell additional solutions to existing clients. Daily activities include cultivating relationships, setting appointments, gathering leads from business partners, assessing client needs, presenting ADP solutions, and closing business in the field. Prior sales experience is not required, as ADP provides comprehensive sales training and teaches the use of modern sales technology. Requirements

  • Ability to adopt new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business by closing sales, winning business, and reaching sales goals, working independently and collaboratively within assigned geography.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
