About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This is an entry-level B2B sales role where you will work within a defined geographic territory targeting clients with 1-49 employees. Your responsibilities will include identifying and signing new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits solutions, as well as selling additional solutions to existing clients. You will cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads, assess client needs, and close business in the field. ADP provides high-quality sales training and the latest sales technology to ensure success, even for those with no prior sales experience. The role requires integrity, resilience, positivity, and a determined attitude. Success in this role is rewarded with uncapped commissions, incentive trips, and career advancement opportunities within a stable and respected tech company.

Requirements

  • Ability to present ideas clearly and professionally in writing, in-person, and over the phone.

  • Continuous Learner, always seeking to improve processes.
  • One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry, OR Military experience.

  • Grow business by closing sales, winning business, and reaching sales goals independently and collaboratively within an assigned geography.
  • Turn prospects into loyal clients by implementing a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Deepen relationships within existing accounts by strategically cultivating additional business and serving as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador.
  • Collaborate daily with clients, internal partners, and the network while demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
